The £3m refurbishment of the Gleneagles Dormy House was completed in April 2011. Ridgeway were chosen to supply walnut veneer lockers, walnut paneling and solid timber bench seats with quilted pads to the prestigious Scottish club that will host the 2014 Ryder Cup.
Gleneagles is synonymous with quality, boast three of the finest golf courses in the United Kingdom. The Hotel is a member of ‘The Leading Hotels of the World” and the prestige restaurant, Andrew Fairlie is the only two Michelin star restaurant in Scotland.
It was imperative that this level of quality and luxury was incorporated into the changing rooms. Craig Abbott, the project designer from Sedley Place said “Our aim was to create and area which had an individual feel while still being in keeping with the design of the main hotel.”. Craig chose to use walnut timber which creates a contemporary and classic feel that flows through from room to room.
